Dear all,

My name is Tommy (Jacques) Genave, and I am 41 years old. Until recently, my life was full of joy and I enjoyed every moment with my loved ones.

However, on January 16th, everything suddenly changed.

After experiencing severe pain, I was rushed to the hospital where doctors confirmed that I had suffered a serious heart attack (Inferior Wall STEMI). Following a coronary angiogram at the Cardiac Centre – Trust Fund for Specialised Medical Care in Pamplemousses, doctors discovered multiple severe blockages in my coronary arteries.

Because of this, the cardiologist has urgently recommended CABG (Coronary Artery Bypass Graft surgery).

Without this life-saving surgery, doctors have warned that my chance of survival is extremely low, around 10%.

This is why I am reaching out today with humility and hope. I understand that helping someone you may not know is a big request, but any support or donation, no matter how small, could help give me a chance to live and recover.
