Help Starr Get Back on Her Feet ❤️
Six weeks ago, our family’s world changed when Starr was involved in a serious scooter accident.
Starr suffered a severe degloving injury to her leg and has been in hospital ever since. She has undergone extensive treatment and skin grafts, and while she is making her way through recovery, she still has a long road ahead. It will be some time before she is back on her feet, able to work and return to normal life.
Starr is the kind of person who is always busy, creative and dreaming up her next adventure. Just before her accident, she was preparing to launch her own small business, Soda Starrs, making and selling delicious “dirty sodas” at local markets. She was so close to getting started when everything suddenly had to be put on hold.
Right now, her focus needs to be on healing.
But being unable to work for an extended period comes with its own financial challenges. We are raising funds to help Starr through this period of recovery, including her ongoing recovery-related expenses and everyday living costs while she is unable to earn an income.
Our hope is to give Star some financial breathing room so that she can concentrate on getting better and, when she’s ready, have the opportunity to get Soda Starrs back on track.
