SAREPTA Emergency FOOD RELIEF
Help us feed vulnerable families and kids affected by Covid-19 outbreak which has caused many households to lose their livelihood and income. Help us feed them.
Many are not registered in the Social Register Mauritius and are thus excluded from help from the authorities. This is why you can make a huge differences with your contribution so that each affected family and kids can receive one food pack assistance through the SAREPTA emergency food relief . We have successfully helped 800 beneficiaries in Phase 1 with the Alumni leaders of the Young African Leaders Initiative of Mauritius Chapter, LIFEFA and citizens united together. We have 3 phases, food relief and sanitation.
We are currently raising fund for Phase 2 to help achieve the goal and be part of this national outreach for 825 beneficiaries. Your contribution as a food hero helps make a difference in the lives of hungry affected families and children. Many have lost their jobs and are unemployed. The situation is critical.
We are helping grassroots families in Pointe aux sables, Camp Mana, Camp Bangladesh, Bois Marchand, Cite La Ferme, Curepipe, Camp Rodrigue et Follesherbes Bambous. Cite Tole EDC, and 94 other regions nation wide. Some people sleep on the streets and we are helping SDF to restore their human dignity and relocate some to abri de nuit.
Many children have been affected by the confinement and some has their houses demolished recently.
It is not an easy task as every day our volunteers expose themselves tirelessly on the field in outreach with love in action.
