A Journey Through Words, Identity & Self-Discovery

This project is the realization of a deeply personal dream: to publish my autobiographical poetry book, a collection of words, experiences, reflections and lessons gathered throughout my journey in life.

More than a poetry book, this work is an attempt to preserve and celebrate our native language, Rodriguan Creole, a language that carries our identity, memories, culture and the voices of generations before us. Through poetry and written expression, I want to encourage people of all ages to discover, learn, appreciate and use our native language, so that it continues to live and evolve rather than slowly disappear.

The book also goes beyond language. Each poem carries a piece of my journey: moments of questioning, struggle, growth, observation and spiritual reflection. The teachings and reflections within it are intended to encourage self-awareness, personal growth and self-improvement. My hope is that readers may recognize something of themselves in these words, reflect on their own journey, and perhaps find a different way of looking at life.

This crowdfunding campaign will help make the publication of this book possible: from the final preparation and design to printing and making it accessible to readers.
