Hello, my name is Anielle. I live in Sainte Croix and work as a veterinary technician. Each day, I witness the silent suffering of countless stray dogs and cats. Their lives are filled with pain, hunger, and fear. Many are weak, sick, and constantly breeding in a cycle they never chose.
I’m launching a Sterilisation Campaign to help stop this ongoing crisis—humanely, effectively, and with compassion. Sterilisation isn’t just about preventing births—it’s about protecting lives.
Every unsterilised female dog or cat faces intense stress when she goes into heat. She’s chased by groups of desperate males, sometimes for days. These males often fight violently, and I have witnessed many heartbreaking cases at the clinic—animals arriving with deep bite wounds, severe infections, and maggot-filled injuries. Most of them are strays, suffering in silence with no one to care for them.
For the mothers, life is even more painful. They give birth over and over again, while weak and malnourished. Their puppies and kittens are often unwanted and cruelly discarded—dumped in sugarcane fields, abandoned lands, tied in bags, or left in boxes. Most of these innocent babies die—hit by cars, killed by other animals, or slowly wasting away from diseases like gastroenteritis or sheer neglect.

Organise ongoing sterilisation campaigns across Sainte Croix
Provide essential medical supplies, surgical procedures, and post-operative care
Support the Community Sterilisation CAMPAIGN (CSC)—a non-profit organisation that helps low-income families who can’t afford sterilisation and provides care for strays in need across the island
We aim to raise Rs 500,000 to fund as many campaigns as possible and offer real hope to animals who have known only suffering.
