Help Team Mauritius Shine at the African Championships
Help Our Mauritian Archers Reach the African Championships
A Small Island with Big Dreams
For over 20 years, Mauritius has been building something special in archery. Across 9 clubs, more than 240 dedicated athletes train tirelessly, united by one dream: to represent our island on the world stage.
At the last African Championships and the South African Nationals, our small but determined team stepped up to the line and proudly brought home 9 medals. Each medal carried the sweat of long nights after work, weekends away from family, and the unwavering dream of making Mauritius shine. Every time we stood on a podium, it wasn’t just us—it was our flag, our island, and our people we carried with us.
We are grateful to the Government for providing a national training ground, and our athletes invest personally in their own equipment and daily training. But now comes our most important step yet: the road toward Olympic qualification for the 2028 Los Angeles Games.
This November, the African Archery Championships in Ivory Coast are a crucial milestone. We have 11 talented athletes ready to compete. Thanks to generous sponsors and donors, we have already raised Rs 400,000, but we still need Rs 400,000 more to cover the costs and send the full team.
What Your Support Covers
- Flights for 11 team members
- 5 nights of accommodation
- Competition registration fees
- Local transportation
Why It Matters
These aren’t professional athletes with big contracts. They are students, salarymen, and everyday Mauritians who dedicate over 20 hours a week to training—on top of 45-hour work weeks and family obligations. They’ve already sacrificed so much, but international competition costs are simply beyond their reach.
Your support ensures they can carry our colours with pride, raising Mauritius’ flag high among Africa’s best.
Every Contribution Counts
Whether it’s Rs 100 or Rs 10,000, every rupee brings us closer to Ivory Coast. Together, we can prove that even a small island can aim for the biggest dreams.
Join Our Journey
From November 19–23, 2025, when our archers step up to compete, they won’t just be aiming for targets. They’ll be aiming for Olympic glory—with the hopes of 1.3 million Mauritians behind them.
Will you help send Team Mauritius to the African Championships?
Goal: Rs 400,000
Deadline: URGENT – Competition on November 19–23, 2025
Impact: 11 athletes carrying the pride of our nation
