Today, I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart, but with a desperate hope for my future. Many of you know me, but many might not know the silent, exhausting, and life-threatening battle I am fighting every single day. At just 32 years old, instead of building my dreams, I am fighting simply to take my next breath.

My Diagnosis: A Heart & Lung Under Massive Strain
I was diagnosed with a Large Atrial Septal Defect (ASD) which means I have a significant, 16mm hole in my heart. Because this went undetected for years, it has caused a critical secondary condition called Severe Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH).

Right now, the blood pressure in my lungs is at a dangerous level (95 mmHg, which is nearly 4 times what a healthy person’s should be). Because of this intense pressure, the right side of my heart has become severely enlarged as it works overtime just to keep me alive. Every day, I rely heavily on specialized medications and (nighttime oxygen therapy) just to get through.

Medical specialists have delivered a sobering reality: medical management and tablets alone are no longer enough to save me. My medical team has advised that I need to look toward an advanced medical intervention, potentially leading to a heart and lung transplant evaluation.

To get the highly specialized care I desperately need, we are coordinating with Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. However, the cost of advanced cardiac evaluations, specialized procedures, and international medical teams is staggering. It is a financial burden that my family and I simply cannot bear alone.

I have so much life left to live. I want to be here, I want to be healthy, and I want to breathe freely again. I cannot fight this giant alone—I need your help.
