CSE Velocity, the STEM Racing team of Collège du Saint-Esprit, became the first-ever National Champions of Mauritius in 2025 and has qualified for the STEM Racing World Finals 2026 in Singapore. We are raising funds to cover travel, accommodation, engineering development, manufacturing, branding and competition expenses so that our students can proudly represent Mauritius on the international stage.

Who We Are

We are CSE Velocity, the STEM Racing team of Collège du Saint-Esprit, Mauritius. In 2025, our students made history by becoming the first-ever National Champions of Mauritius in STEM Racing. This victory has given us the opportunity to represent our country at the STEM Racing World Finals 2026 in Singapore.

For us, this is more than a school competition. It is a chance to show that Mauritian students can compete with the best young innovators, engineers, designers and entrepreneurs in the world.

What Is STEM Racing?

STEM Racing is an international competition where students design, engineer, manufacture, brand and race miniature Formula 1-style cars. Teams are judged not only on speed, but also on design, engineering, innovation, project management, marketing, presentation and teamwork.

Through this competition, students learn how to think like engineers, work like professionals and present themselves like future leaders. They use skills linked to science, technology, engineering, mathematics, communication, enterprise and design.

Why We Need Your Support

Qualifying for the World Finals is an honour, but it also comes with major financial responsibilities. As a student team, we need to raise funds to cover the costs of participating internationally.

The money raised will help us pay for:

Travel expenses for team members and accompanying adults
Accommodation and meals during the competition period
Registration and official competition costs
Engineering development, testing and manufacturing
Materials, components and technical equipment
Branding, uniforms, pit display and presentation materials
Logistics, documentation and preparation for the World Finals

Our estimated overall budget is around Rs 3,000,000. Every contribution, whether small or large, brings us closer to Singapore and helps us give our students the opportunity they have earned.

Why This Matters

By supporting CSE Velocity, you are not only helping a school team travel abroad. You are investing in the future of Mauritian innovation.

You are helping students gain international exposure, develop engineering and entrepreneurial skills, and represent Mauritius with pride. You are also supporting a project that can inspire younger students across the island to take STEM, design, teamwork and innovation more seriously.

This is a national opportunity. CSE Velocity will not be going to Singapore only as a school team. We will be going as young Mauritians carrying the hopes, talent and ambition of our country.

Our Promise of Transparency

We are committed to managing all funds responsibly and transparently. Contributions will be used only for expenses directly linked to our participation in the STEM Racing World Finals 2026.

We will keep our supporters updated on our preparation, progress, expenses and competition journey. Every donation will help us move one step closer to representing Mauritius on the world stage.

Call to Action

We humbly invite you to support CSE Velocity in this historic journey
