Build a sanctuary for rescues- Phase 2

My name is Shamitha Allet, founder of Healing Hearts Animal Sanctuary. We are a registered NGO with BRN A20000050 since 21/03/2020 & have been rescuing long before that.
Everyday animals in Mauritius need our help & we do our best to help as many as we can.

We are a small group of committed animal lovers focusing on rescuing & rehabilitating injured, abused, paralysed, handicapped & special needs dogs
Our goal is to improve animal welfare in Mauritius.

As the amount of animals that we rescue were increasing daily , we saw that we needed a bigger place. We have acquired a plot of land in the East of Mauritius to construct a haven for these unwanted animals to live a peaceful life away from the abuse that they are subjected to daily.

In July 2021, we created a Crowdfund, hoping to raise the amount that we needed to construct the sanctuary but unfortunately we were unsuccessful. We started construction by getting a loan from the bank & using our salaries. It wasn't easy. Everything is even more expensive nowadays. We fenced part of the land & built kennels.

Now we need your help for Phase 2. We are in desperate need of donations for building more kennels, 2 container houses, water tanks, solar system & plumbing material as well as building materials ( blocks, cement,rocksand)

Someone once said, rescue is pain, rescue is joy, rescue is worth it because they are worth it. And that's the honest truth.

Please help us to make their lives better.
